2011 Week 14 NFL playoff scenarios

The NFL released the updated playoff scenarios going into Week 14. Only two spots have been claimed so far, and both are in the NFC as Green Bay (North) and San Francisco (West) clinched their respective divisions on Sunday.

One interesting note on the scenarios is that the AFC North leader, Baltimore, can’t clinch a spot, but Pittsburgh, which is tied with the Ravens at 9-3 but lost both meetings to Baltimore, can clinch a berth because of other tiebreakers.

Three divisions: AFC East, AFC South and NFC South can be clinched this weekend, but no one can clinch by winning alone. All three will take a win plus help from another game. The only thing that can be clinched with a straight victory is a first-round bye for the undefeated Green Bay Packers.
